I tried a few different approaches tonight in terms of how the layers in this were arranged. Using gates, switches and duplicating large numbers of tracks into groups in order to compress and mix them together. Things got a bit messy in the end, in terms of the Ableton arrangement window, but pretty chuffed with the results!

Thanks to my brother William and sister Linda for the song title and image suggestions (you weirdos!!)
