Your “legacy" on a couple of hard drives
And a Dropbox account

All these broken ideas
Half truths and unfinished thoughts
Once again, the utter futility of it all

Boxes to be sent to charity shops
Shirts you never wore

Some days you wake up
And you want to run for the hills
Take a box of sleeping pills
And maybe a bottle or two of vodka

But instead I’ll put these thoughts into
This cheerful, uplifting song
And this day can go fuck itself
Along with everyone else
